I'm charm
decaying to strange.
Got a smoking French accent
and a seven string guitar.
You're a darkling.
A whirligig with sheathed wings.
If I were to meet you,
I'd meet you where you are.

Love. Music sounds forth! I admit I wiki-ed "seven-string guitar" to see if it had a special meaning or placement. I didn't see one but I enjoyed the ride.
Charm becoming strange is, imho, not decay, but evolution. ;_) The last lines are so condensed with images and meaning that they are a bit of a whirligig themselves, and the trip they promise is not on your grandmother's highway. With you, short is never less, always more. (And it's an awfully cold day to be bald...just sayin.)
Fun as always, MZ, and fun start for my day!!
One can try to accommodate others most times but must not be seen to be deviously a spoil-sport. Nicely MZ!

I'm working to better that skill... meeting people where they are. You remind me of its importance. Another keen piece, MZ.
I love the images of charm decaying to strange and a darkling whirligig with sheathed wings. They also sound fun on my tongue.
I like the kind of 'come as you are' in this greeting and possible meeting.
Love the whirligig with sheathed wings. Love the whole thing.
I'm with Kim...no matter the differences, it's best to meet others where they are.

I like the idea of charm decaying to strange. I am decay decaying to strange. (Ha.) Very charming.

love the combat between a brainy bold beauty and a powerful darkling...a sparkling meeting it would be...
Very evocative imagery and a lovely comparison of human qualities. Love it!
You never walk away from a challenge...you are the coolest
at college, there was a class called Physics for Poets, and I see you've snuck in some subatomic particles here ~
