from the cobwebs.
Weed the lightning fields.
Hold hands with the sky
and midwife the moon.

This crackles like the lightning you grew for it under the blue moon.
Such a pretty, deftly written piece, all in nineteen words. Show off! ;-)
Beautiful! And you are good -- show off or not!
nice...love the weeding of the lightning fields...
So cool. Well done. I took it in a completely different direction which was long and wordy. So sorry. This is so distilled and charmed. k.
I sort of see the giantess gently stooping to the clouds and cobwebs, pulling up burnt out lightning and all the rest. Wearing jeans and a T-shirt, Finishing up fast to make an appearance in the musical "Into the Woods." Seriously--I made up the last 2 sentences--it is actually a much more spiritual scene than that. Nice!
Love this. "Midwife the moon" is quite the phrase to make me pause and think.
"midwife the moon" ... Mother of all poets. Goodness, you certainly are. The moon, I believe.
This wanders along in the most beautiful of ways... I see I totally missed with my zuihitsu... A bow to your genius :)
So beautiful....short and fulllllll.......
each
line
perfection!

I had to go to the challenge to learn what a zuihitsu was. You nailed it. The to do list in vivid color. I learn so much here. Separate the clouds from the cobwebs. :)
And that would be enough to sprout a field of beautiful wildflowers.
Wow! Every line a gem
I especially love seperating the clouds from the cobwebs

Love this!
Like this very much. It kinda gets in under my radar - which appeals to me.
Love midwife the moon!
What a lovely haunting piece!
Beautifully balanced.

This is beautiful. Wowzers!
this speaks to me of "cleaning up" and making space for new adventures...great images mz
clouds from cobwebs.. so far removed yet so visually similar, the image has enormous scope. And each consequent image is just as rich. I love it.
So well said, in so few words. I don't know how you do it, but I love it and admire it wholeheartedly.

Visually stunning...I love the magic you captured with your words!
It felt like a painting, such a vivid view! Beautiful~
I like the wild feel to this one! Especially, the phrase, "midwife the moon."
