Note: the Parkland shooter is actually 19 and old enough to vote.

Perfect. My heart is out. More angry than broken at this point.
It is too much. At the very least, prohibiting sale of assault weapons to civilians would be a good start, unlikely to happen. Horrifying.
Seeing from abroad how the US is held at ransom to the gun industry makes me sick...
There will always be those crazy ones, but they cannot all be locked up before the act.

I admire those who can steel themselves to speak out, as must be done. I have pretty much been struck dumb by now.
"Our hearts go out," maybe that is why we no longer have a heart? It is time...or way past time....
The last line is brilliantly haunting.

Yes, thoughts and prayers such meaningless when uttered by one who has vested interests in those that carry guns.
How many lives lost will it take to bring change...far to many.
