This really speaks to me, as I was a left-handed little girl whose daddy made her do it with her right. But kudos to me--- Now I can do it both ways.
Very cool presentation. It gives me the slightest bit of enlightenment regarding how your brain works. I dig it.
clever - my mind actually takes this poem a variety of ways.
Spaces and gaps get the mind trying to fill them. This time an absolute void:
what is left is right
or in the middle someplace
spaces all depend
It was a fun read, MZee. Standing out was "bi" with its lots of possibilities, obvious in the middle of am'bi'dextrous.

I like your mini-poem: "Left hand's love left right." But even if they "broke up," they're kind of stuck together. :)
There are so many little nuggets of goodness in here, the most obvious being the "bi" statement. But it's the hidden bits that I'm hunting out.
Like, "be patient with" makes me think that Left and Right are both sick, so really, neither can be blamed: they're both in a mental ward, patient(s) with each other.
There's also "we're all born right," meaning that we should stop giving each other such a hard time because we're all just trying to figure things out the best way we can, and maybe that's true; maybe there is no wrong. Maybe there's just "this."
The "bi" is also masking a "bye," in which both hands are waving, ending the relationship.
I also see some "s love" tucked away in the lower middle-ish section.
"Clever girl!" Said in my rather terrible Doctor Who accent. ;-)

Hi MZ--I am tempted to say something about sinister poem, as I think sinestre ==or something like that--is the latin word for left-handedness-and it shows the way that difference has so often been historically treated. Agh. Very clever cool poem and really well-executed. Thanks. k.
