Great ending - quite unexpected.
Fabulous. The opening, "I coven and compound," and " the sweet sip is yours" are killer.
I knew Mom Zee would come up with a good curse. I loved it, just wish it would have kept me reading longer.

This is deftly written and creepyyy.
It's not surprising how much of the old school witchery transpires between hearts. Nor is it surprising that the other is silent through this, not even a witness. But the craft of this is. The distance between two ends of a single sentence a wild black forest. And all of it whispered into a mirror.
Takes me back to those wonderfully scary fairy tales days. Shivers of delicious dread.
