This silence
is fragile.
I handle it with care.
Reflect,
genuflect,
and climb it
like stairs
to share with you-
shhh . . .
my finger to your lips
Shh . . .
careful,
you'll wake her.

Nothing more fragile than silence... love it.
Wow, this is HOT!
Enjoyed the still peaceful silence in your words.
I love climbing the silence like stairs.
A wonderful moment beautifully shared
Much love...
Oh, I remember those precious silent moments and the joy of sharing them!
I'm loving this homage to silence.
MZ--I appreciate silence when I have the house to myself (which is rare). This poem reminds me of when my kids were small. We'd do all sorts of things to avoid waking them up.
Intriguing!

Such silent times are precious indeed.. until the house remains silent all day every day, with the children gone away. I long to wake mine up in their beds.
The silence of an empty house can be comforting, intimidating, or sorrowful. I like your silence!
Oh this is incredibly beautiful!!❤️
real life, but condensed, and not quite sweeter - but sharper ~
