Autumn breezes waltz
her skirt high above her knees,
and the trees shiver
soft incantations
that flutter leaves loose to fall
spellbound at her feet.

Beautiful metaphor. Very well done.
Beautifully penned. I love the imagery used here.
Very good painting with words
Haiku precision in an enchanting mix of dance, seduction, engagement and adoration--all in the interaction of a woman and a tree and the wind--in the right season of course. I used to feel this playfulness as possession while walking my school books home after dark. OoOo . . .
One of the more pleasant spells to fall under, I think.
A haiku for Fireblossom's challenge! How daring...
I love to read of Autumn in personification - that is a little bit of magic right there.
SO beautiful!!!!!! I can see her, swaying by with her skirts lifted.
Oh, very cool!
She must leave them all a-tremble ;)
ahhhh, nice.
Ha! This is great! I wrote a similar one for the prompt 'revelation.' Love "the trees shiver" Well done.
Naught more beautiful than dancing Autumn in with words.......
;)
I love autumn, and your leave strip tease!
Another damn good haiku!
oo la la...she's got the magic...and knows how to use it obviously
Ah...a sweet spell to fall under.
This is a favorite! You captured a mystical view~ :D
This paints such a lovely picture,,,brings a sigh and a smile - so well done.

These are sweet, though. I like them.
Your skilled way with words will never cease to amaze me. Bravo.

Nice! Nice!
I find haiku very difficult to write, but you make it feel natural and easy.

I adore this prose. This is fine writing. Everything, the skirt, the breeze, the leaves, the feet. This is wonderful. (this word, wonderful, does not do this work justice)
Ohhhhhh. Is there anything more magic than Fall? I don't think so. This is fantastic.
Dear Happygirl. Please look up the word "prose."
