clever indeed, MZ. This form is much fun, but a little work. I enjoyed your use of contradiction in the first and second stanza, and your one line third stanza pack a delicious punch. well done.
Totally relatable--and very sharply drawn--and of course I am also ROFling--reminds me of the old blues line "if you don't want my peaches, honey don't shake my tree."

Very clever. I love it, MZ.
I love this. But I have to ask... And what of Winter Woman?
This picture is very evocative of Autumn... and every woman must proudly flaunt her luscious pears at the fair!
Great poem! I'm still smiling after reading it!
ha, fun dance in your verse...nice word play...i rather like the fair, and you gave me a little chuckle at the pair....smiles
Laffin @ Kerry's comment.
Yes, in Autumn the fruit hangs low on the trees. Sometimes it almost drags on the ground...without proper support, of course.
Love this, MZ!
wonderfully written!
Nice and clever !
Clever haiku. Enjoyed them.
This was fun :-)

I like the contrast, yet the pairing is strong ~
Love it! This autumn woman is liking the "shaking" going on in her pair. lol
Very funny, MZ. And so clever. k.
Just got back from the county fair in my area. I love a blue ribbon and I love a pear (or pair). :)
Love your twist on this! Very nicely done!
Very clever! A great ending!

Love, love this!!!
SO entertaining, Mama!! Nicely captured pears/pair! :)
Ah, the effects of gravity on the pair, er...pear. Lol, nice one!
ooooh love it, you had me from September Girl.
Fun, crisp, pudgy, sweet. I like your poems that take me by the scruff of the neck and shake.
This is very clever and fun. I guess I'm in autumn... I sure shake in places I'm not happy about.
Well Done, so fun to read ;D
Very intelligent poetry. I love it.
