Ah, but fools gold is every bit as pretty to the untrained eye! I'd say she has a lot of gloss on, but it works for her.
Yes, but how do you look in a pink net skullcap?
I think MZ could work the look!
Sounds right to me!
Fantastic! :)
Good one MZ ~
it works for the fools....
Yes, the hat/skullcap is tres chic. And yes--make up could definitely be called "fool's gold."
I think she's got more than gloss working on those lips. But for a severed head, she's not doing too bad.
Nice one!
Clever, MZ!
I imagine the fool likes it very much! :)Lost Gloss
And yet it glitters!
cool!
yes, but it often boils down to what we can do we can do with what we have. nice
It would ruin the haiku syllable count, but my mind read the last line as "into some old fool's gold."
Oooh, nice, MZ, very very nice. So subtle it smacked me right in the face. Way to write!K
It takes a lot of fool's gold to work magic on me. lol
An artist at work! LOL
Wonderful!
Consider yourself a gorgeous alchemist!
Nice. Very clever.
Nice play on words. And so trueRick
Excellent word play with "gloss" and "some fool's gold." It's easy to gloss things over so that you look shiny to the fools. And if you don't know what you're doing or who you are, then by golly, make it up until you can find a way to figure it all out (for real).
Have you considered doing Rick's September haiga challenges? You could use your photography, and you're a natural at writing haiku.http://19planets.wordpress.com/
Ah, the arm candy .. the trophy wife .. amazing what gloss and glitz can snag. Fool indeed.
VEry cool take on the prompt and I agree with Patti about "old" fool's gold!
Quite innovative ... loved this one !!!
