This poem
would have turned poets into rock stars,
renewed the human spirit,
and cured cancer . . .
but I got distracted.

Many a time this sort of thing happens. Backtrack a little and see what gives! Nice thoughts MZ

Ah, you do know how to make my day!!
ha...that will happen...i still have hope for cancer...poets may be better off not as rock stars...
I don't know why I keep getting distracted too, but it is getting harder and harder to get anything done. I think I need earplugs, an eye mask, a room with nothing in it, and then I might not get distracted, but then again I would get nothing done either.
Well I know your poetry would have been great if you had been able to write it, and the singers would have turned it into a hit, but at least we here at Theme Thursday know what you mean because we have all been so distracted this week. Happy Theme Thursday.

I am such a person. :)
Could have done great things. Wish I went to art school. Probably all mothers feel this way, though. They ARE doing great things but just don't know it.
This poem.. says everything about real life.
I can totally relate to this. Thanks for stopping by.

That's terrible! I say that when a person starts something, they should fi
Ah, rats! I had such high hopes!
you should def. try again..we need this kind of poetry
I hate when that happens...
That must be some distraction, but your writing is still lovely ~
LOL...Curses! Drat and, double drat.
LOL...Curses! Drat and, double drat.
That's one thing that writers never run out of--excuses on why they can't write.
I couldn't help but laugh! I love your sense of humor in every poem I have read of yours.
LMFAO!
