Down at the local suck-n-fuck,
time pole dances
a slow strip of past progress
while her newly literate patrons
peruse fifty shades of poorly written porn
and mutter to themselves,
"I knew it!"
Shades of social commentary on Fifty Shades of Grey for Kenia's Challenge at Real Toads

I laughed out loud. Nice "commentary" MZ!
Just what we needed, right? Good grief.
This is way out! Hilarious, MZ!
Hank
The local suck n f**k...never heard one called that before lol
You always find some way to givee a smile or, amaze MZ
ha! hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
I plowed my way through the first two shades books (yawn)
I liked what Kirstie Alley said about it. she said
"Hey! i lived with a guy who made Christian Grey look like justin Beiber!"
now we're talkin
rick
Oh, I needed this one today!!!
Well the whole thing is pretty darn attention-grabbing. But this, in particular, is well written and thought provoking:
"time pole dances
a slow strip of past progress"
Ha ha! 50 shades of poorly written porn indeed.
lol...that is about it...surely....funny how certain books just hit at the right time and catch on even when they are not that well written...
HaHaHa--each line here has its little stinger, its gem of satire, but my favorites are lines 2-4:
"time pole dances
a slow strip of past progress
while her newly literate patrons"
"while her newly literate" aren't watching and, despite what they say, know nothing, see nothing, and have nothing to say! BRAVO!!
('course I have not read it, so what do I know?)
Rugged and funny...great one, Mama!!
The first line is a zinger, and just sets the stage for the rest.
I have not read it yet. Soooo, I get the impression you're recommending it? ;)
With wordplay and imagery this came alive. Loved this one!! :)
You grasp the whole point of porn(hmmm...maybe not the best way to say that) and skewer it here.(also maybe not the best way to say that...) Loved it, MZ.
Loved it (your poem, not the Fifty Shades of Green).
Absolutely 50 Shades of Poorly Written Porn. Wonderful commentary.
Thank you for just coming right out and saying what the rest of womankind should be able to say, instead of: OOooooh, this book introduced me to an inner goddess I didn't know I had, and awakened me to the romantic possibilities of toxic relationships..
Hahaha that was quite enjoyable.
I loved this
Keep writing. :)
Funny :)
"Her newly literate patrons," now there's a line for the ages! The local suck 'n' fuck? I was laughing out loud at this great social commentary. So hard to be profound and yet hilarious, but you did it! So glad to find you in the Garden. Peace, Amy Barlow Liberatore
