Wonderful. Great names woven well. Thanks, MZ. K.
This has the wide lorn plains feel of Oklahoma, MZ--the bite of lead, the blue knife of sky, the percussion of wind on the ear drums that drowns/drones your breath--especially like 'where 2 foxes 3'
Do these places have multi-purpose sports stadiums, airports and internationally acclaimed five star restaurants?
Those are places I'd like to visit one day, just for the poetry of their names.
Gorgeous imagery, way cool place names, and I love the smile in dog days swallowed by the cat.
These sounds like the places where the highway is very far away... very... love how you weaved in so many names.
Dog days swallowed by the cat.
That's my favorite line.
I love that the cat swallowed the dog days--this has a great feel to it
hot and dusty comes alive in 'dog days'
much love...
Just WAY cool!
something about the sky and how it supples the angular horizon here, can just about see those brokens, MZ.
thanks for adding your voice ~
Loved the whole, but that last line is best, and will stay with me. Thanks for sharing, MamaZ!
