The back of my head
underneath my hair
my neck
the span of my shoulders
the sides of my breasts
the curve of my ass
my heart and its trip rush beat
my elbows
my hands
my hips when I stand
my thighs
and behind my knees
my calves
my ankles
my feet
all of me
seems to hurt

That's my checklist too!
Ouch.. I'm so happy I don't need a checklist like that...
I'm so sorry- sounds terrible
...and the angry fleshy bits around my fingernails. Yes, damn that list!
Because you methodically list the areas of your symptoms as a checklist, it makes the enormity of this real. Excellent.
I didn't know you had it too, kiddo. I have cfs, fibro and an assortment of syndromes. Yes, everything Hurts! I literally feel your pain.
Terrible. Well written but terrible news. Hope you feel better soon. k.
Wow! I am so sorry. Every time I start to whimper a bit, someone comes along with some REAL health problems.
You suffer from that but you still write like you do? I double bow down to you.
O Mom Zee, this is more than I can imagine, pain, pain, pain. Mine have always gone away with time and meds. I can't imagine yours, I am sorry that you have these.
..
Oh dear! This is a telling list... Enough for the reader to imagine the pain.
Stop pissing off the gods, would you please?
1) You just made me realize that my husband must have this.
2) This stanza invites a special massage for every line:
"the sides of my breasts
the curve of my ass
my heart and its trip rush beat"
3) I suppose I should rub these things for my husband. Well, not the breasts. But "wherever it hurts." Lately, it's his left arm, particularly the elbow.
Oh, my gosh do I know this list! There are times I feel like the Tin Man frozen in pain.
The fibromyalgia checklist seems funny, but the pain gets real. All the body parts ache, so sorry the pain seems unbearable. In fact, the checklist is just a wake-up call to me and those who feel the pain and confuse it with tiredness. The rhyming in the poem makes the flow sweet, and the mention of the body parts so descriptive.
