1952-2014
Mother.
Daughter.
Grandmother.
Wife.
A life.
Kennedy.
King.
A man on the moon.
Joplin.
Hendrix.
Gone too soon.
Nixon.
Carter.
Oil boom and bust.
Nursing
and farming
and working too much.
Loving hard.
Loving unwise.
Loving reckless with wide open eyes.
Murrah.
McVeigh.
Nine One One.
Osama.
Obama.
Wars undone.
Wandering lost.
Wandering home
to the arms of her savior.
Dates carved in stone.
Mother.
Daughter.
Grandmother.
Wife.
A life.
For my mother.

I love the shorthand of words amounting to a life here.
This made me cry. Sooo good, MZ. So powerful. ~Especially that twist at the end, suggesting that her life is *not for you.* You want something different for yourself.
I think we can honor and respect the life someone else chooses, and still not embrace it for ourselves.
luv your galaxy of senses and events. A beautiful tribute indeed
much love...
What a stunning tribute.. a presence ingrained in your soul..and honoured
Nothing I say will add to this. It's perfect.
Really not a word missing... every single one jolted memories... and a life lived, perfect tribute
As Shay says, this is perfect. A life fully lived.
Gorgeous. Moving. Inspiring.
